malloree lanierMalloree is from Adairsville, Georgia. She got her BS in Environmental Science, Geology from Berry College in northwest Georgia. She went from there to the Georgia coast, teaching outdoor environmental education on Jekyll Island at the 4H Center. She caught the outdoor teaching bug and, after two full seasons on the coast, she moved to teach at Camp McDowell in northwest Alabama. She moved back to Georgia after a season there, settling down and working in Albany at the Flint RiverQuarium. She is now the Education Curator and most days you can find her there teaching programs, creating lesson plans and wearing out her Chacos. She is currently working on completing her Master’s Degree through the Global Field Program at Miami University. In her free time, Malloree enjoys hiking, exploring new places, baking goodies for her friends and relaxing at the beach!
